CANCELLED

We will be having a work day on June 15th to clean up and fix as much as we can on Serpentine.

It's further out than I 'd like, but the soonest the City could schedule.

Please join so we can make this trail rideable again.

Good luck my friends but the time might be a wasted effort. Not the best time & climate to do trail work now plus they will only F it up later since that is what they do. They have no clue or care as their work has shown.
The great O'wise one once stated: "ride it til they pave it" :hello:

^^^ Ultimately correct, but I appreciate the volunteer effort to fix it now so we can have a little more fun until the next time they f*ck it up.

So do I but it might be best to just ride it over & over in the same time period. You'll create a line, get the same work out, increase your Strava time and you can regroup at the hydration tree of life

I’m obviously not in the know here and feel stupid for asking , but when people say they, who the F destroyed it? I’m all in on the volunteer repair day and appreciate you coordinating.

A City of Carlsbad contractor did it. Go back about a week in this topic:

or if you do the Facebook thing:

Unfortunately, we've had to cancel this date due to City short staffing issues.

Any work on City trails has to be Supervised and they were going to bring WATER so we could work the soil as three of us did 2 years ago in similar conditions.

When I have a solid date that won't move, I will reschedule.

This seems to be the crux of the issue. It will be difficult to get any work done with this policy.
