i recently bought an avid bleed kit and bled my (juicy 5) brakes. while the brakes work, i don't think i did a proper job since the brakes don't engage as quickly as i think they should.

i'm looking for someone to look at my brakes to see if they are in proper working order and then to possibly assist me with re-bleeding them if necessary.

i live in mira mesa, am willing to drive, and can provide $, beverages of choice, and other interesting trades.

thanks!

that would be great. are you free this weekend? it didn't take me long to watch the video and attempt my bleed job, so i don't imagine this will take up much of your time.

please let me know when you are available.

It is nice of you to offer your help to memebers. I don't know alot of people willing to take their time and help these days. Keep up the great help man.

Will I be able to count on your wheel building experties if I ever want to build a set?

Thanks in advance.

I will be posting a thread devoted to this very topic very soon. But, yes, you can count on me to build up some wheels for you.

We should start a "what can you offer to others thread". I can help peeps fix their cars/quads/motorcycles, pour concrete, or I can make stickers.
Hope I'm not thread jacking.

That's a great idea 24v,

In that case, I can offer my help with anything related to used cars. From financing to extended warranties, sale and service on cars and trucks. I have connections with most auto services you can think of and can get any parts and services at our discount rates. We buy used cars as well.

I have bleed kit and oil and experience with Magura, Shimano and Hayes, but never owned Avid.
