It basically comes down to how much you are willing to spend.

Any tubeless set up can burp and lose air. Any tubeless system is subject to trail hazards. Rips, tears and punctures are the nature of the beast. I have a set converted with Stans and a tubeless wheelset. Both sets run non UST tires with Stans sealant. IMO the rubber rim strip makes a better seal. Both sets had minor issues when initially setting them up. The tubeless set leaked more at first. Just resealed with more stans and no more issues. Both sets gradually lose pressure over a week or two which is normal. I have had no other issues aside from the initial set up. Tubeless tires may be more durable, but until I start having issues I can't see paying the higher prices.

Keep in mind I don't ride as much or as hard asmost of the peeps on here.

Try running a little more sealant in them. Mine lost air while sitting at first as well. Now they can sit for a week, and not lose any air at all.
