So I scored this park ts-2 truing stand. Had no idea how the friggin thing worked. Checked in the park tools handbook and decided to give it a shot

Prequel: Ran sweewater rockytop again on thursday. Did a fantastic OTB on one of the turns going down (Wish I had a pic). Anyhow, my handlebars somehow managed to turn while flipping and now my stans wheelset is out of true. In comes the Park stand that I scored some time back but never used. It was actually quite easy and the rims were totally out of true form the fall. After 5 minutes of screwing (no pun intended), a perfectly balanced rim. I couldn't believe it. I started trueing all of my wheelsets in the garage and grabbed my neighbors bike too. Woo-hoo. Anyone need a truing for free? I can show you how it works.

If anyone knows how to tune a bike after a fresh cable install, I'd like to learn that. PIcs follow.

I do not like you very much right now. I need one so I can start churning out wheels for peeps. It's one of those things that I just have a knack for. The pimpin' wheels I have on my Niner were the first wheels I ever built and they have suffered almost 1000 miles of abuse without a problem. I built them up, stress relieved them as I went, rode them once to break'em in, re-trued and they have been stellar ever since. Nary a wobble to be found.

TS-2 is the last truing stand your grandchildren will ever need, lol. That stand is freakin sweet!

I love mine! once I get this stupid cast off I'm gonna try and lace up some wheels.
