Well, after all the great things I have said over the years about Shimano pedals, something happened that I didn't expect. When I was riding yesterday I noticed there was a slight creak from the drive side, sounded like a loose chain ring bolt of something loose on the pedal. If I switched the side of the pedal I was using it went away so I figured it was a loose screw that hold the plates/springs on the pedal. Wrong. So today, I took a closer look and was very surprised with what I found. See for yourself:

holy crap.

If you need a new set, I've actually got a lightweight Exustar ti pedal set that only saw a week's worth of use as I upgraded to some CB 4ti.

Maybe there should be a forum dedicated to JS's broken parts. :)
Funny thing is, the parts he breaks aren't cheapies.

Thanks for the offer. But me and the highlighted word don't get along. Not to mention those have a rider weight limit.

I figured just as much. There's no weight limits however.

All their Ti models have a weight limit of 187lbs.
