Been a lurker for a month now. Just want to say hi to all of you guys.

I started riding last July and had ridden Otay, Bonita, Powder Canyon and Ladera Ranch. Yesterday and tonight I tried riding solo. Yesterday was fun. I started at 6 and finished at around 7:30pm. Tonight is a different story. I almost ran
over a snake. I jumped off my bike thinking that it could have wrapped around the chain or tires. I hopped on and after a few yards is a bigger snake so I avoided it and I jumped off my bike again. Stupid me, it's my second day of riding clipless and everytime I tried jumping off my bike I ended up crashing with my shoes still clipped in.
