After over 6 months of waiting I'm finally in San Diego. I just moved here from Hawaii with my family. I live out in Murphy Canyon, and will be working over on Point Loma at the sub base. I ride an 07 Specialized Stumpjumper HT.

My bike is currently in transit. I should have in about 2 weeks :(.

A few things I am interested in trying are SS, 29er and both. Eventually even 650B. I like the idea of it. Not sure if I'm sold on FS. Been riding HT's since I was 12.

My experience is broken trail time due to the Navy. I'm originally from around Hershey, PA. Did a lot of riding up in CT while I was in sub school there. Not as much in Hawaii mostly commuting. Looking forward to getting back on the trails!

Yep, us too. He's a sonar tech on the USS Hampton.
