Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself.

My name is Allan and I live in Otay Ranch. Just got into mountain biking and have been only to several trails. Mostly I ride with my buddies and my daughter and am hoping to do more riding as I get better, if I get better :wink: .

I just had surgery on both my knees last December so I thought biking would be a great way to train/stay in shape. My true passion is motorcycles and hope to get back into racing sometime in the future.

I do hope that I can get a chance to ride with some of you guys.

Welcome allan, looks like I need to get a picture from my Willow riding days cause your like the 3rd or 4th Motorcycle rider to pop in here. Me and a few friends have switched from motorcycle riding to mountain biking to get our adrenaline fix. After a few wrecks and a few kids, taking the hits off the Track Pipe became too expensive for us. But damn do I miss it. 05 1000RR is my steed.

this is a great site for finding local San Diego trails and stuff. Enjoy the stay!

Yep, I raced WSMC least year and made it to provisional expert after 3 novice races. I ran in the meat shredder 600 classes, but had a ton of fun. Hopefully my knees will be better by the end of the year and I can maybe do one round this October or November. When I was racing and doing all the track days, I never had it in my budget to get a mountain bike, now I do :).

This definitely is a great forum and I can't wait to get out there more to ride some trails.
