Sup everyone,

New here. Got referred to this place by my friend Drew (29erDrew).

Just a little info.. Name is Kevin. I am a n00b to mountain biking. I ride a 05 Specialized Rockhopper (base), building an 06 Specialized Stumpy. Didn't know biking was so expensive, but that's the fun of it. I haven't hit too many trails except the UCSD fit trail. I've done Sycamore Canyon once with my brother and that was bad ass. Gonna hit up PQ this weekend.

Anyway, wanted to say what's up and look forward to seeing some of you on the trails.

Howz'it from East Lake! The guys here ride frequently and are pretty good about posting future rides. Welcome and see you in the dirt.

No worries. I was thinking that it took longer than usual for most mods to activate an account.

I would ride Daley but Geoladders said it was an advanced ride. I thought Sycamore canyon was pretty technical for me at the beginning around Marsha's Grove. Maybe next time?

I would have bought another RockHopper with disc brakes, but for only a couple more hundred, you have yourself a FS bike. Said eff it. Attached is my frame.

Welcome new guy! :hello:
If you ever want to meet up, a buddy and I ride near or in Mission trails at least once a week. We do some trails in the park, and some near the park. We also ride Cowles a little bit.
I am a new guy as well, but I ride 5-6 days a week at least right now.

Daley this Saturday is a barb-q and get together with a ride mixed in. You would be fine there. There will be quite a few newbs there I'm thinking. I'm sure there will be an easy ride, and a harder ride.

Welcome! I hope you're just riding the fire roads because everything else is illegal.
