Hello all, first time reader first time poster here. I actually came upon this site after reading part of the thread in discussion late last night. Just wish the words SAN DIEGO MOUNTAIN BIKING FORUM , Came up in a search. While not meant to be specific it helps us birds of a feather to flock together.
Back when I first got on a mountain bike I searched high and low for a SD specific forum and only came up with STR. :crying: After spending a few years on a motorcycle forum that I had to wean myself off of I ended up there. Never had much to add or speak on because I just couldnt relate to anyone over there. I had noticed a little bit of the dictator type moderation here and there but nothing too drastic. I would run a tight ship if I held the crown as well.
I like what I have seen here so far, more of a laid back keep it cool attitude. More "SD" style IMO. I want to be able to pitch my .02 cents in on a trail I rode etc., and like to joke and have a laugh among friends. BS'n with you guys is and will be something to help me make it thru the work day.
:drunk: WOOHOO found a bike forum I can troll at work. I cant put into words my excitement. Thanks to all who got banned from STR, You did not lose your life over there in vain.
I will shut up now.

Howdy from Jamul! I will agree with you, this site is the best thing that I found since I got an desk job this year. I spent a good 4-6 weeks trying to find something to do for the 5 hours I have to "work"!
