Hi!

Been out of cycling for quite a while now (over 13 years) and finally getting back into it. Found out about DT after dusting off the Bontrager Race Lite w/ Judy SL fork out to La Costa and met some DT'ers. I forgot how tough hills were and how rocky the trails were. I was grabbing the brakes all the way down Vista Del Mar.

Finally went out and picked up an Ibis Mojo in Nuclear Pesto. Now I'm finally enjoying myself, both on the climbs and especially the downhills. I'll eventually come out for the Saturday morning rides when I get in more shape.

I'm also a roadie, with my Columbus EL/OS steel Bianchi Reparto Corse, hand built by myself. Get a lot of looks on the road, doesn't seem like there are may road bikes out there that have any chrome on them anymore.

If anybody would like to try a road tandem, let me know. After having a couple of kids, my wife and I hardly have the time to go out anymore.

Thanks for the warm welcomes.

Yes, that was me on that Bontrager. Also in all my lycra (honestly, not that bad).

Welcome back. Will you please post pictures of your hand built road bike? I am very interested in seeing the art work.

To clarify, I built up the bike myself (prepped the frame, built up the wheels, etc...); did not build the actual frame. Sorry for the confusion.

I will get some pics up though. I love ogling other people's rides as much as just staring at mine sometimes.
