Red hot, thanks for the quotes...When my son was born, I truly said "Luke, I am your father". I named him Lucas just so I could do that.

That is one of the most awesome things I've heard. I think my husband would appreciate that. He wants to name our son "Han"

could be short for Han-K, Han-sel, Han-nabal, Han-some, or just plain Han!!!

No, it's definitely because of Han Solo. He is obsessed with Star Wars and when we first started dating, he made me watch Episodes 3-5 in the same night to "catch me up."

Good man. Just let him know that you're not a jedi until you've fashioned your own lightsaber...from a graflex flash handle.

Hasn't made one, but one time he took me to the doctor's office and he brought his Master Replicas version with him into the office. Kinda-sorta related, but not really... he did make some duct-tape nunchucks and mailed them to me from the boat once.

I know this is a MTB forum but... hubby says that you don't need to fashion your own lightsaber to be a Jedi. Jedi usually earn them from their Master. It's the Sith that have to make their lightsabers.

Your husband is partially correct. Each jedi has to find their own crystal in the wild and use it to fashion their own lightsaber. It is true that they train with a lightsaber to learn their skills (given by their masters), however it is their final test as a jedi padawan to fashion blades on their own and become a true jedi knight.

Not surprising, seeing as how I'm not a jedi.
