Sandag is updating the transportation corridor plan for the Hwy 52 corridor. Comments are due tomorrow, Nov 24. Please take a look and comment. A few things needed: Legal crossing from Rose Canyon bike path to trails in Marian Bear park. Fencing for trolley project has cut off easy access from the brewery. Also need a legal crossing or two up in Rose Canyon. Need better bike path connectivity from La Jolla to Santee. 52 bike path over Mission Trails summit forces riders onto city streets at Tierrasanta and all the way through Clairemont. Sandag is proposing to widen 52 but within its existing footprint, adding lanes on the center median and shoulder with I-15 style counterflow lanes.
