well, we have the Veteran's park situation coming up soon for City of Carlsbad. They do not seem to have any input or support for that project, at least they are not talking about it.

That happened several years ago. SDMBA beat the drums for support, a bunch of us locals attended meetings and wrote letters. It’s a done deal now. Master Plan including a bike park is approved. Construction starts next year.

I was all over leading the charge to get people to sign that petition and sign up for the survey.

Good. So then I don’t understand your comment at all.

*I know, I know…I’ve done my best to stick to some traditional fictions on DT, like we don’t all have real names, and Facebook and other social media don’t exist. Oh well. I abandoned the first a while back, there goes the second one.

Special Promotion of $30. Normally $60. Uh-huh.. I'd be very surprised if they move the price up to $60 and keep it there. I mean, how many would go more than once?

I will definitely go for a trial during the promotion, but even at $30, I'll be opting for Vail Lake and a bit longer drive thereafter.

I hope they'll come out with an annual pass at a reasonable price, and also a big discounted pass if you don't utilize the shuttle vans.

I am going to do my best to check them out at the $30 price point and then I can make an educated decision as to whether or not anything above $30/day is worth it for this park.
