My rumbling doesnt count as its been just over 2 weeks, like 2.2 weeks, as such, I’ll not discuss or disclose the circumstance about it here. I’ll try to catch the next window of opportunity to bring ya’ll up to speed.

Nope. Tried to ride at lunch today. Aired up tires in the am and rear was nearly flat when I pulled my bike out of the truck bed. Shiooot! Need to top off the goo tonight; will try again Thurs…

Rode into the Back 40 yesterday - never touched CHER - and did not see any Rangers, but that does not mean anything I guess since I could not see all of CHER.

I saw only two solo hikers and two bikers when I hiked out to the pad Sunday afternoon. It was a beautiful day and I could see most of CHER from the route I took.

I wonder if that new Ranger was all hot to trot for his first 2 weeks and then realized his efforts were futile and pointless.

Nothing is gonna change with current land management's short sighted direction.

In other news someone is moving large rocks into main lines again...... I guess some people get off on the idea of harming others.

Carlsbad ranger truck idling at the restroom near the dam but no ranger. Private security woman driving a truck by the conex container.

Have ridden most every trail outside CHER in the past week but have not run across the rock roller’s handiwork. Which trail was impacted?

There is a dirt line that runs parallel to the paved road as you descend south from the Dam. A friend of mine was not expecting it and hit it at full send and landed on the asphalt.. I picked up the dang thing and threw it back into the bushes where it came from - it has not arrived in the middle of that section naturally.

That is a shitty place to booby trap since it is all downhill and fast. Thanks for the 411. I just rode by that on a group ride last Thursday and we passed it for other reasons. Glad we did now.

Yesterday post 4pm there were only humans out enjoying nature in CHER. No rangers driving heavy trucks where they should not be driving heavy trucks.
