I had a small window to get in a ride this morning after work and decided to get in a run at La Costa. Since there are a ton of videos of NASCAR, I decided to get one of VDM. Ran into Dirtmonger afterwards back at the car. I also decided not to edit the vid...Enjoy the windnoise  |

I'm using a VHoldr ContourHD. The 1080p version. The quality is amazing on this thing (youtube takes away a little of course). The thing that sucks is the wind noise. The mic adjustment only adjusts gain, so if you set it low you get less windnoise but lose ambient noise. Set higher to pick up voices, bike sounds, etc and it also picks up hurricane force wind noise. Some users found that placing the camera in a baby sock helps a little, or wrapping it in foam and sealing the gap between the lens and camera body with tape will knock down the noise considerably. The pictures on Contour's support forums are comical. |

i thought it might be from the shadow. i was looking into a camera. that or the gopro everyone seems to use now. kinda like that the gopro goes underwater, but not a game changer. not so sure about the chest mounting either. thanks! |

we were there too. started around 8:40 and did Nascar and Switchbacks. |
