I have have some kind of intestinal thing that just will not go away so I have been home this week watching the Tour Of The Basque Country on Universal Sports (Ch117 on Cox). Today's stage was awesome, break a ways, crashes, and at the end, a hill so steep the pros were getting off and pushing. American Chris Horner, on the Radio Shack team is 1 second behind Valverde in the overall, with the time trial tomorrow. I don't know why but I love watching that stuff, its almost like a gang fight mentality but without punches.

Yeah me too. And the fighting without punches is a lot better than the alternative:

c'mon, give em a break. that spinning (open hand)back fist was a sweet move, besides, do you know how hard it is to plant your feet on an incline with roadie shoes? I'm at work so I can't turn on the audio, but I bet it sounds pretty similar to a womens tennis match audio(not the Williams Sisters)

yeah, now that you mention it they do look like they're ice skating with those shoes. still funny.

too bad there's not more action like that, would be a more popular sport here- may even steal some of the pro wrestling / NASCAR crowd.

Definately a great win. Just need Levi to win AmGen ToC and Lance to get his eight, and this will be the most successful year for American cycling. Who knows, maybe now Americans will get into cycling!!!
