Great racing today. The TdeF is possibly the worst in-person spectator sport yet the best televised sport.

Dear god, the finish today was brutal. Hard to fathom accelerating like that on a gravel 20-24% grade!

Just noticed a pump track on top of Alpe d’Huez, visible from the helicopter shot. Great race.

Quinn Simmons has had a great race. Its nice to see some USA riders making an impact. I know there are others but he stood out to me.

^^^ Yes, there are some good ones to watch. Sepp Kuss is probably having the greatest impact on the race by keeping Tadej from getting the yellow back from Vingegaard.

Agreed. Sepp is going to be busy the next couple days. I hope he gets a chance to be the lead in a few races in the future.

Interesting they pulled Wout back and he was the only one to watch after Vinegaard for a good stretch of that day.

Yeah, wonder how he really felt stopping at the summit to wait for the yellow jersey to catch up!

…and American Brandon McNulty was nothing short of awesome today.

It's July, so I have to avoid looking at the news/my news feed during the day in order to not ruin my evening replay of the days' stage.

Hope I don't ruin anyones day...

Nutzo descent. Common sense winning out?

Has the green jersey ever paced the yellow jersey/dropped the second placed GC rider on an HC climb after three days in the mountains, two weeks into the race?! Wout!

Fricking bizarro TDF.

With a nod to the above discussion, kudos to Sepp Kuss again.
