Four started but only 3 finish!!
We had a great ride today, jjthewhale, my friend Arturo and Joey from Bonita Bikers and me.
We started from the Santee side and after the first couple of miles Joey had his rear derailleur hanger busted on his new Chumba!!

So he had to turn around and we kept going, I don't have that many pictures since we kept a good speed trough the ride.

Very nice indeed. I guess Baja was absolutely right when he mentioned Sycamore as being a really nice place to ride. The XT fail is really interesting. I had it fail at exactly the same spot a mere two months after I bought my bike. Same rear derauleur. I wonder if JJ's deraileur was also an XT.

thanks for the great ride, very nice place to ride, glad that the weather
wasn't to hot for this long ride.
thanks again for waiting for me on the last part, but my legs couldn't take it
any more. :oops:

Thanks Jose for the pictures and all. I am just imagining how Joey felt when he broke the hanger. He gets pissed real bad when the bike fails.
