I used to hate Monday mornings but not one like today.
Got up a bit late so it turn up to be a late morning ride, went to do my usual ride and on my way there I remember last time seeing something that look interesting and decided to do a little searching, I found gold.
Lots of new single track on this hill that I ride by all the time, someone is being busy building and riding this trail by the look of the tire treads. They build three nice loops on this hill with beautiful xc type of singletrack, off chamber and up and downs and a little of rock gardens

Recognize most but not the slick rock section. In the first pic, the direction your bike is facing is the opposite direction I am usually going on that trail, but it is fun either way. Nice ride, I am jealous.

Nice going there, Baja. I agree with Mike. Looks like I'll have to put on some ileage on my truck again.

Just let me know when Mike, Sweetwater is a ride by itself, lots of options and almost all singletrack.
The Bonita/Chula Vista trails is another ride, I tried to mix both on the last time I had a big group(16) and I didn't like it.

Hot... I love sweetwater... I am surprised that it does not get more action. In all the times I road there I have only crossed paths with one other rider.

I know the area but have never riden there. How long is the ride and how technical? Is it worth the drive from North County?

It can be as long or short, technical or flat as you want it. Maybe we should do a DT Sweetwater ride?

From the shop to the Steel Bridge plus the new singletrack will make it a 20+ mile ride with 95% singletrack.
You guys in the North County should carpool, that's what we do when we do Cuyamaca, BLT or Noble.
I think a DT ride in the south is due
