+1.
Flightline. Rich J. taught us all a valuable lesson, by example, from that place.
He didn't let it get him down, instead, it got him motivated. He didn't react, he acted.
Just lookit all he's got done since then.

It is a huge bummer still for me. Between it and Calavera I could knock out 30 miles from my front door with just a total of 3.5 miles of pavement.

For those that never got a chance.

Summary:
This is a message to all Flightline trail bike users. All the trail construction activity and use of this area is illegal. This area is not open to the public for biking at this time. All past activity was also illegal. This area has been designated as a dedicated nature preserve. The Center for Natural Lands Management is the authorized land manager and has recenly commenced management activities. Although we allow mountain biking at other preserves (and will do so on this preserve in the future) and have worked with mountain biking groups to improve trails (SDMBA), the damages caused by this trail building is unacceptable and ALL STRUCTURES AND TRAILS WILL BE REMOVED IN EARLY NOVEMBER AND THE SITE WILL BE FENCED AND POSTED. We will open this area to the public once we have desingated trails and construction activities are completed. Call 760 731 7790 for more information.
