It was a beautiful day for a ride. Not sure what Luke is talking to Pete about, but it looks like a serious book club conversation. Really good ride, couple of e-MTB’s and the rest trad bikes, a good mix, taking turns leading. About 11 miles, 1700’, two and half hours of fun. Finishing up we were pleased to see someone has restored the first few berms on Serpentine. Flowers are blooming, get out and ride.

^^^ not the most flattering photo of our favorite yeti — sorry. Here’s a couple more from the ride. He was on his e-MTB so probably went by at this spot before I could get ready for a photo. Not much dawdling to sniff posies on this ride, so it’s all I’ve got.

Rick with a big smile on his face riding my new bike (the shock for his Ibis is at Fluid Focus) while I rode my Kona Remote 160. Modern geometry is interesting. My brand new size M Pivot Switchblade actually has longer reach, stack, and wheelbase, and similar short chain stays, with the same ETT, as his size L Ibis Mojo! So I flipped my moto brakes for him, added 20% to the fork & shock, another notch compression damping on the fork, a few psi to the tires, raised the dropper four inches, and he loved it. Fit him fine ( I am always on the cusp between S and M sizes, and usually choose M for better downhill handling). He has another bike left in him before going E, so pretty sure it will be a 29er.

PS: a tip of the hat to Dave, with his arm in a sling, for bringing pizza to the post-ride pine tree for that Yeti guy.

I believe it’s a small saguaro. The chollas were like a mauve color those were amazing.
