This site has the potential to grow and set itself aside from all other forums by adding select individuals that love riding and don't feel the need to control everyone.
There are so many great places to ride many we can not talk about because it will cause a big drama fest. That sucks because many cool people miss out on some great rides.

Trails that we make when not used disappear as fast as we make them.
Most of us know how not to make an impact one the environment.
Many times the people that are telling you to stay on the trails and not explore are the same people that have not been to the cool hidden trails.

Who knows they might like it but who wants to take that chance and have to deal with the flaming about damaging the the hungariam zoolooo butterfly or the Indonesian poop toad or whatever might be in the bushes.

Most of the time it is control issues. Some times it is safety issues and
rarely is it truly environmental issues.

We all love to keep the trails nice and in no way condone skidding around damaging the hill sides.

But look at the control issues we have .
For example Whiting Ranch when is that going to open back up?
I know many are riding it still and they are considered outlaws but why?
the trails are cleared out and there is nothing any different.

I do not plan on doing anything any different but it would be nice to be able to say hey I went on a ride today and it was fun here is my RR with pictures. Maybe keep it within trusted individuals that wont flip out about everything. The DH group of people are afraid to say where they are going to ride on the weekend because it might stir up some BS.

This is just some of my views and opinions.

I still love the animals and the trees and all that but I just think its time to stop blaming bikers for all the BS and go after the big problems.

I would like to see the rangers just do there jobs and let everyone have fun.

The Canadians laugh at us and our whimpering ways.

While we are out hugging trees they are bolting ladders to them and building ladder drops and bridges and all kinds of fun stuff.

The woods there are in great shape so whats out problem.

Power struggle thats it. The laws we have here stop the fun.

The End

There will always be drama. I don't think anyone can stop that -- I'm not sure we should try. My plan is to use karma to weed out the dickheads that just show up to stir up shit. :flame:

I've never seen a poop toad either -- and I've spent about 3 months in Indonesia!
