Hey guys,

So I am currently without a bike but I'm in the market for a new one. I know it sucks cuz a lot of you are my friends and want to ride. I want to ride too. I have just gone through a steep learning curve this past year from joining the "over the handle bars on a Downhill bike club" to having to repair my equipment every single month; costing me hundreds of dollars :/

The reason that I had to sell was to cover the deposit for a new apartment. This is going to be better for me in so many waves. I mean I'm gonna be riding a lot of waves... I am moving to Carlsbad, finally.

Now I am wondering about the riding spots up there. I've heard about a couple major riding spots in North County that I want to check out. If anybody can throw me a few details that would be great. By the way, I'm going to need a good Dh bike in the next few weeks.

If anybody has one for sale, hit me up.

Shakas

Hmmmmm...... DH bike in North County. Sounds like the Nascar trail at la costa to me. Also there is a place behind palomar college in San Marcos. Never ridden it but you can kinda see it from a water tank up there. Its supposed to have a lot of drops and cool features. Then theres Calavera, which is just fun, but i dont know about a full downhill bike there..... Good luck, welcome to the NC. :bang:

I'm still selling this for 900 bucks. 6+" of rear wheel travel, XT componets, King Headset, Fox DHX 5.0 air rear shock, Marzocchi Z1 Freeride 1 fork 6" travel. Sun Singletrack wheels 20mm front axle, Thompson post, Titec ti rail seat. Raceface bars. This bike can anything you can find in San Diego, and it climbs very well with FSR suspension linkage.
