Hey guys,

So I am currently without a bike but I'm in the market for a new one. I know it sucks cuz a lot of you are my friends and want to ride. I want to ride too. I have just gone through a steep learning curve this past year from joining the "over the handle bars on a Downhill bike club" to having to repair my equipment every single month; costing me hundreds of dollars :/

The reason that I had to sell was to cover the deposit for a new apartment. This is going to be better for me in so many waves. I mean I'm gonna be riding a lot of waves... I am moving to Carlsbad, finally.

Now I am wondering about the riding spots up there. I've heard about a couple major riding spots in North County that I want to check out. If anybody can throw me a few details that would be great. By the way, I'm going to need a good Dh bike in the next few weeks.

Hmmmmm...... DH bike in North County. Sounds like the Nascar trail at la costa to me. Also there is a place behind palomar college in San Marcos. Never ridden it but you can kinda see it from a water tank up there. Its supposed to have a lot of drops and cool features. Then theres Calavera, which is just fun, but i dont know about a full downhill bike there..... Good luck, welcome to the NC.
