SART is indeed scenic (though a totally different perspective than BLT) and I've never seen a snake up there but it couldn't be more different otherwise. There's a lot of exposure on SART. You won't die if you fall but there is plenty of opportunities to go off the trail on the side of the hill. SART is also more work...which of course also equates to a better workout.
