Found this on MTBR, this just made my FS 29er decision that much harder and here I was looking at bikes w/ gears. A full-sus single speed defeats the whole purpose of having a single speed...simplicity. Either man up and mash gears or go back to a ss hardtail like the rest of the camp.

What's not simple about that? You dont' have to screw w/ the rear shock EVER! Oh yea that's right there are no rules, as long as it has ONE gear it is a SS. |

That bike doesn't appear to have a chain tensioner. How do you deal with chain growth that I assume you'd get with rear suspension? |
