Damn Basil, that is a sweet bike and I love that fork! If I were to build another SS it would be a raw One9. Perfect for SJT.

Not to be outdone, I chose to build a bike up as “single, raw, and harder”. I also wanted to title this "one NOT bad ass bike"......not black (fail), no suspension(fail), and no gears but one (fail)

And it was just getting so nice and quiet in the 29er forum again....

Very nice. That's a lot like my bike -- well, the grips are pretty similar to mine.

Another addition to your fine collection of bikes? Did this replace the Coconino or just a spare bike? Either ways, it is gorgueos. :thumbsup:

Is that a Reba? and did Fred paint it for you?

I love the raw finish on the Niners with the black, white, and red accents.

I forgot to tell you that you are one of my hero's for riding this years JDM. You are a stud.....you killed it on Bell Ridge too! Too bad we were all tired at the end and left you no room on the steeps to STOP!.....but it was one of the more "funny" moments in hindsight.....that and me taking out Kreechan.

Excellent riding out in Moab Yes it is a Reba. Keith Anderson does the paint.

I love the raw finish on the Niners with the black, white, and red accents. So purdy. Off topic....nice shot of Barcy with the lupine on the Cuyamaca ride, and the bike shot looks great there too......I cannot remember seeing that much lupine on Middle Peak.......amazing.

All I'm missing is silver rims (on the silver DT Hugi hubs/silver spokes/red nipples), bars, fork lower, and some SS braided brake lines. But instead of waiting for those, I needed a bike to crank out 25+ days in Oregon next week. Climbs at least as well as the last RIP and chainstays are slightly shorter than the 1st gen. Way less flex with this frame, but it's also slightly heaver
