Funny - I came specifically to post on DT Dogs and the only other new post was yours Dan. ^^

So, after a bit more than 2 years of living up here, last evening, one of our dogs took another rattlesnake bite. Double-fang under each eye. Three bites on two dogs so far.

Back to the animal ER for an overnight stay.

Pic from the vet at midnight with a swollen face and not too happy about it.

The other two got into a brawl with a coyote pack this morning and chased them off. Between the plants and animals, everything wants to draw blood around here.

She’s a good truck/farm dog. Still pretty agile even after having her right rear tendon surgically reattached.
