Tried all these, with some help, nite 'fore last. Unusually, I liked 'em all. Maybe I was just in a good mood. A friend brought & served up the Belgian in a bowl over Cherry Garcia ice cream. Seriously! Good too. Some of you may have tried the beer float at Stone (scoop o' vanilla in Smoked Porter). Of course, some may consider both of those ice cream things a travesty...

Maui brewing Mana wheat beer

I usually find wheat beers a bit boring, but this one has pineapple juice...excellent

Their coconut porter is also very good.

I'm not much for porters, but this one is tasty. At $5.99 for a sixer (on sale at Keils), you can't go wrong.

Ahh, life is good. 8.9 % ABV doesn't hurt... my little reward for tonight's solo ride in Spring/Oak canyons.

You did!!! Just recently had hte 09 for at a Stone beer and food tasting. The taste have developed quite well after a year of aging. It blew me away. Be sure to age a few of those for another year or two.

The best thing about cooking dinner is the drinking of wine I get to do in the process -- 2009 Cupcake Vineyards Chardonnay while making kale and white bean soup (it's better than it sounds).
