Attachment: IMG_9069.jpeg [ 2.63 MiB | Viewed 16935 times ] After driving all morning in the mountains in the rain, I stopped for lunch in Del Norte*, Colorado and chose the appropriately named Rained Out IPA. *Those of you who remember the opening scene of the 2012 bikepacking film, Reveal the Path, where the guys make a “Colorado snowcone” by pouring bourbon into a tin cup of snow, will already know that the locals pronounce it “Del Nort”. |

^^^ Exactly!! I couldn’t believe it when a friend moved to Buena Vista and told me that’s how it was pronounced. I’m in Cañon City today. After almost a hundred and fifty years they added the tilde to the name, so at least this one gets pronounced more or less correctly. They were actually pretty darn good. |

He does not approve of e-bikes (Haha! f*ck you old buddy! Just kidding — sorta. My wife set him straight on that with a favorite Mel Brooks quote — “we mock what we are to be” ). |

I have been making cold brew coffee using a toddy maker it’s smooth no oil or acid. The sun came out so it is time for a beer
