if you're gonna watch (record) 1 game this weekend, try the maryland - hopkins match. this is the equivalent to the yankees - red sox match-up, with action. the jays offense is middie oriented and the terps attack oriented. hopkins came in ranked 2nd, md was unranked, but beat hopkins in last league play.

other notables:
nd v virginia game: all-american match-up. can the irish's randall contain the cav's stanwick?
can underdogs denver or colgate beat the odds again to get to the semi's?

oh yeah, heads up, the uefa cup is also on saturday. germany's bayern-munich playing home against england's chelsea.

Unranked Maryland destroyed no. 3 Duke today -- let's see what they can do against the 1 seed.

they were unranked possibly because a large part of their starting team graduated last year. but yeah, they also made hopkins (ranked #2) look like they were in the wrong league, but that was after barely squeaking by lehigh with a last second goal. typical maryland.

had a very close childhood friend that played attack for maryland pass away a couple of years ago. just got in touch with his mom to watch this series. hope they take it monday.

^^^ If you'd told me Justin was doing Adrenaline, I would have recognized it immediately -- Brian still wouldn't have been able to join him, but I would have recognized it.

Lacrosse- the sport where you can lay people out, hit them with your stick, whip balls at Mach speeds right at em, and your cheered for doing it. What a great sport
We were a soccer family but switched to LAX and have really loved it

Same here -- when my older boy was about 4, we asked him if he wanted to play soccer and he asked whether you got to use weapons. About 8-9 years later, we signed him up for soccer with weapons . . . . He played a couple years of club and then all 4 years in high school. His younger brother is finishing up his last year of Little League and then starting lacrosse next year (he's had a stick since he was about 6). It's a great sport -- I'm glad it's really starting to gain momentum out here.
