I apologize for that .Stella gives me headaches. You guy's don't have Jupiler overthere ?
I just had some after my last nightshift 8)

I have never seen the Jupiler. I don't like Stella either, but it seems to be popular with young women. I haven't noticed why; maybe they've got an ad campaign aimed at them.

For the beer nuts out there....

Remember Brew Dog, the brewer who came up with the world's strongest beer "The End of History", with each bottle wrapped in a dead animal pelt? (see page 3...viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2434&start=30)

http://www.brewdog.com/beer

I know of a place in town that recently acquired a case of each of Brew Dog's Tactical Nuclear Penguin (32%) and Sink the Bismarck (41% ABV). Bottles can be purchased but require 5-6 people to go in on one at around $20ea. Kreechan and I are in...anyone else? Send PMs, who knows how long these bottles will stick around.

JHill and I decided to go in on this with kreechan and evdog. Good stuff!!! It is quite strong and can really clear the sinuses. You had to breathe out while sipping, and breathe in while swallowing just to have it go down easier. The flavor was quite smokey, but after a few sips, you could really enjoy it. Christian went and bought some cheese with a "bite" and some crackers to help the beer go down nicely.

edit: I forgot to mention that I honestly thought the beer tasted like a gourmet teriyaki beef jerky.

File comment: It had to be served in small dessert wine glasses and a stopper, in case you couldn't finish it.

File comment: We went through all the crackers and almost all the pecorino romano to finish off the Tactical Nuclear Penguin.

Nice Beer Report! There's a sentence in there I can't believe no one's commented on yet...

This has become my new favorite. It's a little expensive at $12.99 for a four pack, but it's sooo good. The grape taste is unique and at 9%, it doesn't take much...

Parrot in a Palm Tree -- porter aged in port wine barrels.

I'm not a huge porter fan, but this was tasty enough to make me reconsider my prejudice against heavily malted beers.

I've been banished to Phoenix for a week of work. Got out early today and went for a random walk around South Mountain, about 7 miles. Now sipping a bomber of Sculpin, watching the BCS game.
