Nice Baja...can't wait to read about the performance difference. I think when its time I will be sending Boo's Fork and my rear shock in to them but we should have plenty of time before thats needed...I hope 8)

Please post your impressions after you've ridden it. I've been thinking about getting my 2005 RL pushed. I'm kinda on the fence about upgrading it to an RLC; it's quite a premium over just getting it rebuilt.

Is going to be like a new fork but much cheaper, will see.

I had the rear shock on my '03 Specialized Enduro PUSHED earlier this year. After researching all viable replacements, getting the shock PUSHED was the most cost effective alternative. The outer housing of the shock had a small dent from the seatpost and had a small leak requiring me to run the shock at high pressure. PUSH replaced the housing, rebuilt the shock and added the equivalent of pro-pedal. I was completely satisifed with the performance after the rebuild. And the way you can scheduled your appointment is awesome. I scheduled mine around a weekend I knew I wouldn't be riding, so no down time on the bike. Baja, hope your ecperience is just as good.

If only Darren would "push" Fox 36 forks for the general public.

I sent my 32 Talas to Push to have them do a factory rebuild since the Talas cartridge never really worked right. The bushings were out of spec, so they replaced those, then configured things for my weight and riding style. It is a totally different fork now...very sweet indeed. You will be happy!

I've been thinking for a while now about sending my pike to get pushed. It still functions well but I've had it 3 1/2yrs now with no mtce whatsoever. Probably time to at least change the oil!

Push only does a few fork/shock models which leaves some people out in the cold. If you have a Swinger or 5th element shock, or a Marz 888 fork, Avalanche Downhill Racing can completely rebuild and upgrade similar to the service Push provides. I have had Avalanche shocks on a few DH bikes now and they are the plushest and most durable shocks I have ever ridden. I think the Avalanche service would be an equally good value to Push if you have one of these products.

Mark, did you ever figure out how to get your Fox fork to run right? If I remember correctly, you weren't used ot it. Was it just a matter of upping the air pressure?

Trial and error. The air pressure is just very sensitive. I kept making micro-adjustments until things felt better. It's probably running a touch on the stiff side now, but I've gotten used to it (and I can adjust out the rebound to compensate a bit).

Speaking of Push...at the race this weekend, one of my dust caps made its way off the lowers to the middle of the upper stanchion. I clean everything out as best as I could and resealed it, but I'll be calling them this week to see if they want the fork back for a check-up. Pretty weird.

I'd clean it up & pop the dust cap back on.

Weird how it popped off.

I'm thinking about getting the '06 TALAS RLC on my Spot PUSHED. It feels fine, but is supposed to be a 130mm travel fork but if you measure the uppers, you get about 4 7/8"-- not even 5".
