Has anyone tried running 9spd chain rings with 10 spd chain? I don't like the sizing of the current 10 spd offerings at the moment and would like to exhaust my vast 9spd spare rings as well. |

From what I've read it should work, but I haven't tried it (yet) myself. |

When I built my nomad last year, Shimano said not a problem. I've had no problems running a 36 tooth. |

I've put in about 1200 miles with a 9spd 36/24 front and a ten speed cassette with no problems. |
