What is there to say about water bottles? Everybody has a few. Here’s a review of this one I bought last week. I was tired of drinking piss-warm electrolyte with a nasty plastic flavor in this hot weather. I had been drinking it early in the ride before it got too bad, but later is when you need it more. So a vacuum-insulated stainless steel bottle seemed worth a try.

Pro:
- Cold and clean-tasting drink three hours later.
- Stayed secure in my bottle cage.
- The pour-to-drink valve worked well.

Con:
- Pricey, even at $30 on sale.
- Heavier (~8 oz more) than the equivalent plastic bottle. But hey, I’ve got an e-MTB.
- Holds slightly less water than equivalent plastic bottle.
- The spout should have a flip cover. A little grit got in it on a silty section of trail.

Verdict: Not perfect, but I like it better than the insulated plastic ones.

Thank you for the advice. I will try using the hydro flask I use it fits in my regular bike. I have 12 oz 18 oz 32 oz and 40 oz.
