I've been lurking on the site for a little while and thought I should introduce myself. I've been mountain biking for the last 12 years or so. I spent several years in the Central Coast before moving back to SD. I regularly ride north & central county trails like Sycamore, LPQ, Hodges, Spring Canyon, MTRP, etc. I've ridden just about everything within about an hour of SD, Big Bear too. I am planning on venturing further east this year and hitting up Noble and Cuyamaca. I enjoy technical singletrack, and like descending more than climbing (who doesn't?). Started out riding a Rocky Mountain hardtail, next was a MountainCycle hardtail (still have it), then I rode a Heckler for about 7 years, swapped to a 5spot, built up a VooDoo 1x9 rigid 29er, Flux, and now I have a brand spankin' new Sultan. Just got some new LED lights this year and planning on doing some night rides.

Nice to have such a good forum with a lot of local knowledge here. The treader reports section is great. See you out on the trail!

Thanks. I've ridden Sweetwater a few times and it was fun, but it's a long drive from where I live now.
