My name is Jeff and Im new to the whole mtn biking scene. I recently purchased a new mtn bike and went searching for a local forum so here I am!

I bought a bike so I can get up off my lazy fat ass to exercise in order to drop a lot, I mean A LOT, of weight. Ever since I started riding around for the past 3 weeks Ive lost 15lbs; started at 340lbs and currently at 325lbs. Im hoping to drop a lot more over time and bring sexy back lol

anyway hope to get to know some of you guys and see you on the trails.

to show my gratitude for reading my intro post, I present this to you...

If you guys like Maxim as much as I do, here you go :domo:

Very nice intro. How do you like the Pitch Comp?

Im actually lovin it. I actually ordered a stiffer/extra firm spring for the front shock so Im hoping to see how much of a better ride that'll give me once I get that installed.

do you guys think I should do a lockout upgrade for when I decide to go out and ride on the road? I want to start building up strength and endurance by riding up and down my hill/street but I feel the suspension takes a lot of my power away when Im trying to pedal up steep grades. I dont know what the term is but I wanna say its called "power stroke"? and no this kind of power stroke Imagedirty dirty people

...maybe I should ask this in the mtb section lol
