 . There are a few that ride in RSD, not sure if their from there or not. If you ride the steel bridge side of sweetwater than you have a bunch of neighbors across the pond and over the hills (eastlake) .

Welcome to the site!

Welcome!

I know RSD isn't South Bay, but watch this thread for (usually) weekly rides down in the area. Next Wed. I think Jose wants to ride Hollenbeck Cyn which is near Jamul.

Welcome to the site!

Yeah, I do ride steel bridge trail head, I usually just loop around the pond & head back though. Once I get my legs back I'll probably go all the way. What street does the trail come out on in eastlake? Do you know how many miles that is from the steel bridge trail head?

Thanks

Thanks again

Wecome to DT. And I would say Hollenbeck is similar to Daley in many respects, including the climbing and mix of fireroad and singletrack. Maybe somewhat longer climbs at Hollenbeck. But in both places you could do a longer or shorter ride, if you know the trails or are with someone who does.
