Here’s a brand new one from Orbea. There are only a couple out there, including the Specialized Levo SL. Most e-MTB’s including mine are much heavier, but also have more power and longer range. I really think though that this is where e-MTB’s are headed, and for anyone who is thinking as they get older that one might be in their future, I recommend something like this.

Here are three others:

Looks like those Orbeas will be available mid 2021 and later? Good gravy.

Most desirable bikes are out of stock now, due to the combo of pandemic-caused demand and supply chain issues. And recent model used e-MTB’s are priced ridiculously high, some over retail. I actually didn’t want an e-MTB, but my health forced me into it if I wanted to keep riding. I was lucky to find one available that I liked.

Rode a Turbo Levo SL... not gonna lie. I didn't want to return it right away.
Future of eBike for the masses is packed in this new breed of less-powered eMTB.
Felt so natural and lighter than the full powered pork bikes.

Copied from the POD thread since it fits both places.

Hmm...Trek has a winning idea here for another niche. This e-mtb weighs only 33 lbs, no pedaling resistance from motor when off, and you can completely remove the battery and motor to drop over six lbs.

Tomorrow will be one year since I purchased my Turbo Levo. I've ridden my Pivot one time in this period and probably will leave it in the garage. Personally for me, removing the battery and pedaling an eBike at whatever weight doesn't turn me on.
Give me some wattage!

I reckon if I were drinking the ekool-aid (apparently delicious!), and my Amish bike was languishing sadly in an unlit corner, I would post 'er up for sale asap and take advantage of the current seller's market we're in.

Good idea. Hmmm, Maybe I should do that with my underused 2013 Santa Cruz Tallboy LT. Maybe get top dollar for it these days, which could then go towards my next bike post bikageddon.

There are two new “super light” e-MTB’s out for 2023 - the Trek Fuel EXe and the Pivot Shuttle SL, both of which seem like they could be the ideal “one bike”. The Trek has an all-new light and very quiet motor. I’m seriously drooling over the Pivot, but having bought two new bikes in the last three years I might wait longer. Plus, I kinda like my current suffer-one-day and grin-the-next rides.
