Allatoona trails

Directional

Allatoona trails have some 50+ miles of trail
The lake has 270 miles of shoreline
There are many campgrounds ⛺️ around it.
My son has taken me camping here and I didn’t know about the trails until this year.

A short easy ride close to home. Took it easy, talked a while at Stonehenge with Luke. Checked the top of the hill in case the Mariposa lilies were early this year. They weren’t. Perfect.

Wish I’d known you were passing thru Santa Fe. My kid showed me a pretty cool trail system just North of town the last time I visited. La Cuchara. Looks like the locals have put in some nice features. Saw jumps, tables and wall rides just from one side I got to. Aerial views show there is lots more…

I rode there a couple years ago thanks. I was camping further west and wanted to ride to the Gila River. I didn’t get to the river maybe I will next time.
There are a bunch of trails on the other side of the river. I’ll probably go there next.
