I will be helping out hosting a Meet Up ride at Sweetwater this Saturday at 9:00 am, if anyone want to ride and never done Sweetwater and feels like burning half a tank of gas to get to the treailhead (depending of where you live) you are welcome to joing us, sweet singletrack, lots of climbing, nice views with a bunch of cool people to ride with:

Yeah right, is not worth that kind of trouble, you'll need to be on the train by 6:00 am to transfer to the trolley at the downtown train station to ride down to Chula Vista so we can pick you up to the trailhead and ride for 8 miles, I don't think so!

Sweetwater is 1.3 miles from my driveway, Otay Lakes is a 2 mile ride to the trailhead, I drive to our meeting spot for sundays group ride (Performance) but I could ride and from there you have a lot of choices for local trails :D
