I just rode some XC around the Big Laguna Trail this past weekend and the dirt was pretty good after the little bit of rain, which is what prompted this ride.

Plan is to meet at the Mountain Market parking lot at 0830 this Saturday to consolidate riders and cars, then shuttle up to Penny Pines and drop back down.

I plan on going to Alpine Brewery on the way home, if that doesn't sweeten the deal.

I'll be driving myself from Mission Valley but can take 1 more bike/rider in my car if anyone wants to carpool.

So, who can make it?

We are going out there as well on the 8th. However, our group size is ever changing due to lazy decision makers and we are coming from North County. As of now, we have (4) going for sure and (5) probables. No matter what, we will have sufficient vehicles to shuttle our group and *may* have room for others. We park at the bottom lot (where you need an Adventure Pass) and then go up..

**However, we park on Sunrise Hwy and ride the BLT/Los Gatos route over to Penny Pines before heading down Nobel Canyon.

Fred...unless something crazy happens, we meet up at Matt's house before carpooling down if you're interested in going with us.

To answer your question, yeah, this is also the Meetup. Not sure the skill level of the people joining, so if you want to shred, then probably go with that other group. I've never played tour-guide before, so this will be interesting.

Hopefully see you all out there.

OK...just FYI, there is yet another group over on the SoCal section of MTBR that are going out as well but I think they are climbing up first.

Yeah, so it sounds like it'll be a busy weekend up there, especially now that there's a little rain in the forecast. The Meetup has about 15 riders RSVPd, so expect a gaggle of us meandering our way down.

If we get in your way, just yell out since I think some of us may not be as fast as some of you. I'll refresh them about trail etiquette as well about getting out of people's way when able.
