had an awsome day with the new trails, excellente singletrack and perfect weather,

great turn out, meet a lot o people with great fisical condition for this very demanding ride, ( for me anyway ) I was feeling it the last 10 or so miles but worth it

who buys white gloves?

When I was in high school, I ran the basic loop around big laguna lake from the wildlife kiosk every Wednesday or occasionally started from the laguna campground and ran up Chico Ravine... I'm embarrassed to say I actually got bored of the place (I'd pick PCT over BLT annnny day back then, too bad that's not a choice on the bike).

Since I've picked up mountain biking, I've learned how much more there is to the big laguna trail system and I seriously can't get enough! Thanks Erick for putting together a really epic route with some new to me dirt .

As always it was a pleasure riding with some familiar faces and meeting some new ones as well!

That was the largest epic tour bus I have ever been swept into. What a blast to ride within all sections of the group and meet many new extreme dirt lovers. Thanks to all for putting up with me. Special thanks to erik and bet

I heard about being lots of singletrack there besides the classic around the lake but never had a chance to try it and yesterday was the day, is just wonderful to be able to do this type of rides on a local trail system, we are so lucky.

So I skipped a 4 mile loop at upper Noble, based on my bad history of 30+ mile rides I wanted to make sure I wouldn't bonk and choose to take a short brake, I ended with 33 miles total and felt good at the end.
So what to do while waiting for the group to come around? I played with my camera!

Thanks for the TR and an awesome map

Looks like you all had a great day up there. I wanted to go, but had something else to do on Saturday. So I downloaded the gps track and went by myself today. It is an awesome route EricMM! I got it wrong in one spot and ended up hitting all the features on LosGatos twice - not to bad. I also added a little excursion down Indian Creek and over to Pioneer Mail (http://connect.garmin.com/activity/32802022). It was a great ride! Thanks for sharing the route Eric.
