I typed up a huge Treaders Report and had pics set-up and everything, but I totally screwed up and hit the back button before the submit button...FUDGE!!!!!!!
Thats so irritating, I am not liking myself very much right now. So This going to be short and sweet.
FatWhat? and I rode La Costa Trails today, we railed, hucked, and were speed demons as we had the place near virtually to ourselves.
Two Laps, up Switchback Trail, down Nascar, up Horned Lizard Trail or Vista Del Mar, whatever its called, down Switchback Trail.
When on my trip down Nascar I figured I would hit all the drops, yeah you read that right...all of them...right from the start of the trail where I usually roll that big rock and all the drops on Nascar.
We finished our short but very lively ride with 6.68 miles and 1110ft of elevation gain. After the ride food was on our minds so it was time mass consumption at the Teri Cafe...oh my, what great grub!!
Heres the pics from our ride, and I have video of FatWhat huckin' and railin' that I will load up on the toober and post it here as soon as it processes.
I'm sorry for the short Treaders Report, but after I screwed the pooch with my first and much better written and thought out iteration, I am quite dissapointed in/with myself...Onto some pics....

Todays ride was simply awesome. Sure we didn't climb much, or even ride very far, but we had a blast. Thanks for riding with me FatWhat?, It was sweeet!!!

Anytime my friend! It was fun playing leap frog and getting set up to take some pics and video of our adventure.

The possum is over at Trek right now I should get it back on Tuesday.

Some of those are not "little" drops, hard to tell by the pictures, here some info about La Costa:

That Panda Horn is there to stay.
If I'm right in my assumption, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but you ride in East SD a fair amount? The more tech trails, like ATT, Iron Mt, Mt Woodson, Noble. Well, if you do and really enjoy them, then you will prolly enjoy La Costa. I'm not trying to compare La Costa to those places at all, as I know La Costa's features aren't as large as East Counties...but it does have features, yes smaller, but way fun. If you have your skillz in check, you can even hit a few sets of doubles at the base of Nascar or Vista Del Mar. One set of doubles is pretty big, you have to carry alot of speed to hit it and clear it. In Fact, I would love to Photo/Video someone hitting the big double, 'cause its big, and I don't have the nut to hit it...nope. Let me know when you would like to ride here, I would have fun showing you around, taking pics and video. But please undersatand you would have to wait for me on the climbs, I am a Sloth after-all.
Mt Bike Bills site has a topo or a profile or something on it.
Honka Honka

Nice RR... I've got to pony up and drive back down to La Costa again. My last time there I was still getting use to my stumpy and rode with some animals who were waiting for me at the top while I was still 5 switchback down... I see what you mean about the Pandas... they do give your ride that certain bad ass look (tounge in Cheek).
