... or where to ride when it's 100+
Did something different for the weekly ride. Starting from Carmel Valley road near the 56 we headed west and ended up in Del Mar around the 25th St lifeguard tower. Went for a swim, dried off and rode back. Overall was about 17.5 miles, of that probably a mile or less was on pavement. Some fun singletrack mixed in with dirt paths and some sandy patches. Fun ride. Will have to do it again, maybe extend it into PQ or Black Mountain.
