Perhaps I've been getting too geeked on bike content lately, but I'm still curious what I may be missing. What sites and rags do you all enjoy visiting and reading? Some of my current faves:

Websites:

1. http://www.dirttreaders.com (for the local commentary, fellowship and smack-talk, although a disappointingly diminishing number of posters)
2. http://www.pinkbike.com (another one that I still enjoy, but not as enthusiastically as a few years ago)
3. http://www.theradavist.com (just discovered it and am digging it. It's a smorgasbord of riding types and bikes - mountain, adventure, touring, road, city, etc. And they feature..ahem.. rad bikes.. that you may otherwise not see - See Mone example below).
4. http://www.mtbr.com (I don't frequent too often for some reason. Mostly check the forums for local commentary, real rider reviews, and research settings or solutions to problems)
5. http://www.bikemag.com (not often - mostly just for more info related to specific bikes featured in the Bible)
6. http://www.bikerumor.com (another new one for me. It's OK but not compelling).
7. Youtube (all kinds of shit. Fixed gear, bmx, mountain)

Mags

1. BIKE (all-time best imo. Butcher Paper is always so damned good)
2. Mountain Flyer (it's only quarterly unfortunately. Was just gifted a subscription for Christmas and was my favorite).
3. Dirt Rag - RIP

Instagram

1. Following a few locals and some oddballs.

This is one of interesting bikes features on theradavist:

^^ I think you mean STD? For the viruses that site got infected with....

I find myself consuming less and less bike content since so much of it is just advertising these days.

Make forums great again - post a few pics from your rides!

I check DT a couple times every day to see what's new in the homeland, what beer to try, and to find new to me groups/songs. Really wish it was more active. Miss all the fuuny shit like Trail reports with a DT twist and video of Fred cussing at Hodges

MTBR- Check it for other areas like AZ, UT, etc to get info on riding trips I've planned. good sub forums but they can get off track quickly (But they all do)

EMTB- My new one that I spend lots of time on bikes not available in the states :( or tips and tricks

Meetup- I check it for trail work days in my area or interest although haven't been able to work like I use to do.

Jenson bikes- A man's got to find a item on sale too

One of the ones I recently discovered (courtesy of Seth's Bike Hacks) is Freehub Magazine. They have a website as well as a printed magazine. The photography is amazing ("The National Geographic of Bike Magazines" according to Seth) and the focus is on stories, both in written and video form.

I'd forgotten about Freehub. Looks great.

$62.95 for a 2-year, 16 issue subscription. First thought: "damn that's expensive!". Second thought: "That's less than four bucks an issue you cheap-ass bastard.".

The second thought may win out.

STR appears to be mostly dead, so I take it back.

Last month I did a trial of Apple's News+ thing, and there are several MTB and cycling magazines there. The whole thing will set you back $10/month, and it only works on Apple stuff.

The San Diego Public Library gives you free access to several magazines, but they only have one cycling magazine that has some MTB content, but that's definitely not their focus (Bicycling I think).

There are a ton of good MTB follows on Instagram (and surf follows and skate follows and Steve Cab who also MTBs).

As long as they don't go the way of Bike Mag. Seems like all content is gravitating to online. MTB is a pretty small user group to support print.
