I haven't been out, but that wasn't much rain. The place with the most problems is usually LPQ, but I didn't see any closures posted.

Here's a number you can call to be sure:
"If you have questions regarding the opening or closing of the preserve during the rainy season please give the Rangers a call at 858-538-8066"

Sycamore Canyon/Goodan Ranch will also close trails after a rain, but seems unlikely right now (I didn't check though).

Calavera can get nasty in the adobe mud near the bottoms.

Most other places should be traction-enhanced! Go for it. Remember to keep singletrack single - if you can't avoid a puddle while remaining on the trail, better to go thru it than widen the trail.

People's opinions on this vary. Here's a list of SD trails rated for rain. A lot of us think this list is pretty conservative, but it's helpful.

BTW, there's an error -- I'm sure Bill meant to say "Please keep in mind our soils are NOT setup to handle sizable rains well..."

South Bay was fine this morning, even during the bit of rain that fell.

Crestridge was fine except for a small spot of slurpee dirt at the bottom of Red Tail. It was cold while it was raining, though.

LPQ wasn't too bad today. There are a few puddles on the single tracks on the north side next to the tree line. Cobbles, the upper mesa/single track and T3 and T4 were also fine.
More rain for the coming week though so it probably won't be good for much longer.

Did LPQ tonight and it was fine (north side only). A few puddles here and there, but no big deal. Mesa, parts unspoken, cobbles and shitz are nice.
