Well as much as i love my spec. enduro there are those days when i miss my ht 29er. and i happened to come across a deal on a '07 felt nine elite frame with a manitou minute 29 absolute fork, starter set of wtb wheels and a few misc. parts that i couldn't pass up so let the project begin.

Kewl!
I just finished my SS today with a ghet-to tensioner! I'll post pics soon.
I'm keeping my shifter, derailleur and cassette on the side just in case though!
Can't wait to get a j-o-b again so maybe I can try this 29'er phenomenon...

I rode my s.s. felt 29er for a while and was really happy with how it did especially when i was passing my friends on there geared bikes climbing and i even considered running this s.s. but the only problem is i want to have a back up bikes for friends if they want to go for a ride-but definitely love my f.s. on the descents

Btw if you change your mind i need a cassette, rear der. and shifter haha

I'm a little bit jealous: building up bikes is great fun. Whether it's a "parts bike" or a designed build, there's a mad scientist/erector set aspect to it that's fun as you do it and lasts as the bike performs over time. It's even better when you've got a good platform like that frame. Cool stuff!

Well finished it up last night and hopefully will be making it's maiden voyage tomorrow, here are a few pictures-the only thing i want to do later is cut down the rear brake line a little (if someone has a hayes bleed kit lmk)
